BC Forestry Minister Ravi Parmar and MLA for Ladysmith Oceanside, along with other constituents, did a site tour and had a meeting with the management of Harmac on Thursday, June 19. We stopped into a few control rooms and talked with PPWC Local 8 members as well. After the tour, we all met in the boardroom and discussed the issues around forestry in the current climate, and the long term goals for the sector, from a Company and government perspective.
