The Public and Private Workers of Canada Safety Conference was hosted by PPWC National Health and Safety Officer, Barry Touzin, on November 19 to 21, 2025, in Vancouver, BC. There were 31 PPWC JOSH members attending. Over the three days, there were many discussions and speakers such as John Bulcock who presented Identifying, Analyzing, and Correcting Unacceptable Levels of Risk.
Also speaking were WorkSafeBC representatives who presented the changes on how the safety officers and hygiene officers will align for future inspections, Bill 41, the duty to cooperate, and the duty to maintain employment.
