Trump will be sworn in as president on Monday, January 20, and these measures will unfairly target critical sectors of our economy, including forestry, aluminum, and steel, threatening Canadian jobs and the livelihoods of countless workers and families.
Canadian workers are not only the backbone of our economy but also vital contributors to the interconnected industries that define the North American market. Tariffs will disrupt these relationships and create instability, harming both Canadian and American businesses that rely on fair and open trade.
